Students Under 18 Support
- Designated Care Arrangements
WIE ensures that all students under 18 live in accommodation approved by the institution, whether it's with a homestay, designated caregiver, or with a parent. The accommodations are regularly inspected to ensure safety and suitability.
- 24/7 Supervision and Contact
Under 18 students receive extra monitoring and have access to 24/7 support. They are assigned staff members who check in regularly and remain in close contact throughout their enrolment.
- Attendance and Welfare Monitoring
The students’ attendance is closely tracked, and any unexplained absences trigger immediate follow-up. Monthly welfare meetings ensure the student is adjusting well both academically and socially.
- Tailored Orientation and Guidance
A specialized orientation programme introduces younger students to NZ life, study expectations, local laws, safety tips, and how to access help when needed.
